Thanx Loads! I got the problem solved:-) The problem was with the apache server that was installed with Suse 5.1. All I could find was the bineries. Had to get the sources to recompile to enable proxy service. So, I went to the Apache website and downloaded version 1.3b. Configured, Made it, Installed it, Now both the linux box and the Win95 box can access the internet at the same time:-) Still got some minor bugs to work out, but that will happen within the next few days:-) I did find that script at the suse site, but for some strange reason it didn't work to well on my system (also discovered that it was the same script in the Firewall documentation on my system) Also I did discover that there was already a firewall script set up in /sbin/init.d:-) Now, the next little project is to set up the linux box to automatically go out and get the mail, deliver it to the various user's home mail slots, then set up a pop3 server on Linux so that when someone logs in on Win95, they can get their mail (or send it and it will be saved until the "mail script runs again":-) Thanx Loads! -- cya l8r Leon McClatchey <A HREF="mailto:leonmcclatchey@homemail.com">mailto:leonmcclatchey@homemail.com</A> Party on Linux:-) -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
