Hi, I have two machines and both running SuSe 6.1 and bridge software. The bridging works. Now I am trying to upgrade one of my machine from SuSE 6.1 to SuSE 6.3. But after I finished all all the installation precedure and enter brcfg, the computer keep telling me "ioctl(SIOCGIFER) failed: Package no installed". I thought probably that was because I did not include necessary packages other than bridge enable . Then I copied the .config file usder /usr/src/linux from another machine, in which bridge software works, and then recompile the kernel. It still didn't work. What was the problem? Many Thanks!
