[opensuse] No longer possible to install Google Chrome browser on 13.2?
I would like to add the Google Chrome browser to a fresh 13.2, so I downloaded the 64bit rpm and tried to install it: pinta:~ # rpm -Uvh google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm attention : google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm: Entête V4 DSA/SHA1 Signature, clé ID 7fac5991: NOKEY erreur : Dépendances requises: lsb >= 4.0 est nécessaire pour google-chrome-stable-49.0.2623.75-1.x86_64 The error message calls for a more recent lsb, >= 4.0. I see that lsb is a part of the filesystem package: pinta:~ # rpm -qf /lib/lsb filesystem-13.2-4.3.1.x86_64 which is more recent than 4.0. Has anyone managed to install google-chrome-stable-49.0.2623.75-1.x86_64 on 13.2? Roger

This is English speaking list. You just reduce number of users who are able to help you. Always force English messages before capturing them.
The error message calls for a more recent lsb, >= 4.0. I see that lsb is a part of the filesystem package:
pinta:~ # rpm -qf /lib/lsb filesystem-13.2-4.3.1.x86_64
which is more recent than 4.0.
It looks for package lsb, not for a package that contains some random file. Check with rpm -q lsb and install if needed zypper install lsb
Has anyone managed to install google-chrome-stable-49.0.2623.75-1.x86_64 on 13.2?
