Depending on the specific application, it should be possible to get it to run under Wine and/or VMware. Since you say it runs under Win3.11 as well as Win95, Wine would probably work. IMO with Wine you can integrate the application more seamlessly with the rest of your desktop/window manager than with wmware. If you told us what specific program you were talking about, perhaps we could give more specific help.
