Hey Group:
I have a epson stylus color 800 which is working after using "apsfilter" SETUP. It did corrrectly setup /etc/printcap and it does do a very nice print job. The only problem is that it is printing vertical and I would like to print horizontal. I have checked the manpages for "lpr" , "printcap" and even "termcap" for a clue. SuSE Linux 5.1 doesn't mention anything in the printer section (Chapter 10 - page 145/156).
Clue?
I have enclosed a copy of /etc/printcap (edited here to save file size)
Thanks Donn n5xwb@inetport.com
Hi Donn; The file you'r looking for is "/etc/apsfilterrc". Go down to about line #235. There you'll find 6 choices. Just pick one and change to it. No problem.
