Hi, wolfi. I'll also buy an asus laptop with sis650 chipset, next week. I'll install SuSE 8.2 on it. I was thinking XFree86 4.3 is supporting sis650. At least on XFree86's web site it's said to be supported. Is choosing the fb driver means loss of any advantages or performance? If you encounter any further problems, would you please let me know? And another question: Could you enable 3d support for this video card, and did you test it? Thanks in advance,
