[opensuse] Update server problem
Today, there's supposedly some update for my system. However, when I click on the updater icon, I get the following error message: Refresh failed: . Error: not trusting key '[94F9ACD253809572-4a98e77a] [OpenOffice.org:STABLE OBS Project ] [D3948FAFB8FD4AB39FBBB90694F9ACD253809572]' Error: Could not refresh repository 'YaST Additional Software Repositories': Valid metadata not found at specified URL(s) History: - Signature verification failed for repomd.xml . I sent this out 3 days ago and no one has commented. Is anyone else experiencing this? It happens on 3 different computers here. I don't understand how there could be problems on multiple sites nor on different computers. Is there an updater problem? James Knott wrote:

Hi James, 'Suffered' the same problem recently on oSuSe 11.0. What fixed it for me was to note the troubled repos onto paper. Visit te repo via Firefox to confirm its existence, or find the new http path to the repo. Add the confirmed repo to your repo listing in opensuse. When adding the repos you will probably be asked to accept a new key. Ask oS to check for updates and the error, if any, should not contain anything about the repos you have just added ie openoffice in your case. HTH Regards Hylton -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I found that going into Yast and clicking on Software Management cleared the problem. It found the new certificates for the servers and all is well now. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
