Was wondering if someone with a bit more kernel knowledge could take a look at this output from /var/log/messages. This is an SLES-8 machine one a dell 2600 with dual Pentium Zeon's (Hyperthreading is on as you can see by the CPU#3). Here is the interesting part, after this occured the machine was still usable, but had the performace equivelant of an 8086 :(. (it took about 5 minutes just to log in from the console.
