Hi folks Anyone else the following? And anyone know of a resolution? It didn;t work from the GUI (it just didn't load or give an error) so I tried from the command line. # yast2 Command: /sbin/yast2 inst_source & /sbin/yast2: line 233: 3920 Segmentation fault $ybindir/y2base $module "$@" qt "$Y2_GEOMETRY" $Y2QT_ARGS regards Ian -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Probably like many of us still hoping for a better working update system, you have added the libzypp update source from the repositories. That version causes this. Back off to the version that came with the update and it will work again. That did bugger all except stop the seg faults, now "yast2 inst_course" is a non-existent module. I somehow managed to get some services from opensuse site into zen-updater but they are all inactive. Any other site tends to crap out with "Failed to parse metadata" One day this cr*p will work. Maybe I'll have to do a Microsoft and reinstall from scratch. Anyone know how to reset all of XMD's config to blank so I start the configuration again? thanks -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
