We have a project, where we use a Windows 2000 server and many PDA like devices running Windows CE. I would like to replace the CE with a small version of Linux including a web browser, mail client and Word like / compatible program. The problem is the FLASH RAM of the entire system with 64 MB !!!!! And if I suggest to use more, than Windows CE keeps winning!!!! bye Ronald Ronald Wiplinger (ÃQ¤¯¯Ç), CEO, ELMIT - THE Internet Solution Provider Tel. +886 2 8809-7680, Fax. +886 2 2809-9158, Mobile: +886 915 653-452 Net2Phone:8869550066, ICQ: 111651169 http://www.elmit.com http://www.wiplinger.org

There were several projects in this area at one point. Not sure how far anyone got though. Try www.linuxce.org (seems to be down now??). Also, try google search: http://www.google.com/search?q=ce%20linux Tom - -- "Now this is a totally brain damaged algorithm. Gag me with a smurfette." -- P.
