[opensuse] announcing: YaST tools for the opensuse community
The project YaST-tools has been created on Novell Forge, and contains utilities that can be useful to the opensuse community. _This project is not supported by Novell_ , all software is used at your own risk, and most of them are the result of developer's playgrounds. The idea is that the community gets involved in its development for its own benefit. YaST developers will use these project to test new code and move some useful minitools to general availability. http://developer.novell.com/wiki/index.php/YaST-Tools right now it contains the following tools: yast2-sshd : Simple YaST module to configure the SSH daemon (output from yast tutorial) susewatcher-zypp : port of susewatcher to the new zypp-engine checkpatches : helper for susewatcher yast2-opensuse-tools : YCP CLI to check for patches and install them among others rpms are being built in the build service and repositories are linked from the project page. Any interested developer, can get access to help maintaining those projects. Just ask!
