A couple of weeks ago, someone posted an install script that cut their download time to 144 minutes, from days. I can find the script via the archives, no problem there. My question is this..the instructions were to install this in the directory tree where ver.xxxx was. I must be an idiot cause I'm missing something probably plainly obvious, I think.. I'm not sure where to, or how to, insert this script in the series of dialog boxes in the course of my install..I'm using 9.0 now actually(27 hours via dsl), but I'm sure I'll end up doing it again before I go buy ver 9.xxx, cause as good as SUSE is, they really do deserve some more of my $ Anyways, if someone would be kind enuff to lend a few words, I'd be most appreciative... Erm, you need to do it BEFORE starting the install

NO. You create a partition to hold the dowloaded installation files, run the script to dowload them, THEN boot with the install media (which you would need to create from the files in the <download directory>/boot directory. After that you can choose to use your download partition as install source and proceed from there. You should read all the README files which come with the downloaded files. Dylan
