Also, (there sure are alot of also's with Samba...) Look in the /usr/doc/samba for examples. Somewhere in there, you will find some .reg files. For windoze9x, if you choose not to use encrypted passwords, you can run the regedit XXXXX.reg file on the win machine to enable plain text passwords. This will prevent you from having to have an smbpasswd entry for each user. Most people opt for the plain text, as it is easiest to maintain.
