Hi All, I am playing around with VNCserver on a RH 8 and SuSE 8 box, and with VNCviwer I can get a representation of my Linux Desktop on my Win2K machine at work. What I would like to know is that I have OpenSSH on the linux server(s), and SecureCRT on my Win2K machine, and is anyone using SSH (1 or 2) to encrypt the entire session so that you can work securely over the internet? -Bill

I have not used SecureCRT but I do use *putty* on windows to initiate an ssh session to my box at home. I configure it to do X forwarding as well as port forwarding to make it work. Maybe SecureCRT offers similar configuration settings. Google vnc+ssh for www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/sshvnc.html On Wed, 2003-07-09 at 20:40, Bill Parker wrote:
