Yes, it was kind of weird, I did the portal password change and it worked. If I recall correctly, I then got an e-mail telling me that bugzilla (and one other site, I think it was buildservice) would retain the same account username and password as things were migrated away from Microfocus. (the same login from the time of Novell). If I recall, all I had to do was use the same old login. Checking keepassx that appears to confirm it. The record is the same one created in 2007 and nothing has changed since then (though I need to update the bugzilla url which is still listed as http://bugzilla.novell.com) But the login works -- I have written bugs since the change. -- David C. It's not you. The whole process(es) is/are not clear to native English speakers either. :(

Most specifically as the emails content did not specify anything but a "password change for your new account" - it is by no means clear that this account should differ from the one I already had / from the request on the bugzilla page (honestly I even did not check on bugzilla as there was an email stating that there is a pending request so I related them). The white box actually allowed me to change the passwort and it looks like this was it. Thanks to everyone who tried to support me. Best
