Second, in my opinion, the Asus motherboard is not one of your best choices now. At one point I suppose they were and many people purchased them, but like the bad quality of Quantum hard drives are now, so are the Asus motherboards.

I'll second this. We still push out a lot of OEM machines here for clients and we gave up on Asus, Abit, SuperMicro, etc a year or so ago. Intel makes a great board that is ideal for business machines and not too shabby for occasional gaming. I use one here with a P4 1.6 400MHz FSB and a GeForce4 Ti4200 card to play UT2003 under SuSE 8.1. Runs real nice for me. Another real nice thing about Intel is the warranty. If the board goes you will have another next day. Abit has had me wait for up to 6 weeks for a board. Try telling a customer their server will be down for 6 weeks while the board gets replaced.
