Hi guys, This is a problem I have encountered on SuSE and other distributions, but I have never really understood what it means. I picked up an RPM for "cooledit" just to have a look. I did an RPM install via YaST and all went well. BUT, when I try to execute cooledit I get a message as follows :
/usr/bin/cooledit: no such file or directory
try moving into that directory and type ./cooledit The environment set by suse doesn't have . in the path for a very good reason, ie. security. If the above works then just create a symbolic link for cooledit. -- Lou A.
