Just a note, when you run a desktop other than Plasma and want to use kde apps, that causes the entire base system of kde to be pulled in and loaded just to run that app. If you are using XFCE (a relatively light-weight desktop), the kde files to support kqgq likely require more memory than the XFCE desktop itself. I have kde apps I can't live without, kate, kwrite, konqueror, basket-notepads, etc... and that largely drives my choice of desktop. Why not look at a replacement for kgpg? I'm sure there is a good Gtk interface as well that would run natively on XFCE (like Seahorse https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Seahorse -- and in OSS repo), or with WxGtk, there is GnuPG-Shell http://www.tech-faq.com/gnupg-shell.html, -- David C.
