At any rate looking for any repos that might have old stuff that I could use. packman especially I have all the suse ones and the suse ones at gwde what others are there? -- Bob Rea http://www.petard.us http://www.petard.us/blog http://www.petard.us/gallery One good thing the NSA has done: shown us that may paranoid schizophrenics were sane, just confused about who was watching them. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It might be more helpful to tell us what you need, rather than fishing for just any old repos. Some one might have an ISO (dvd-rom) laying around. There is actually very little wrong with running an old release as a server, or even a workstation. The only thing you have to be careful of is internet facing open ports. Keep those closed (by not starting any services you don't absolutely need) and you are quite safe from external attack. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
Check out here: http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/discontinued/distribution/ Found that courtesy of Greg Freemyer's answer to my question about setting up a local repo for 12.2 :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thank you. I have been poking around but have found nothing. Then I just gave up. But I remembered your amil. no video works for me any more. I was working in firefox and opea, then only in opera, and now not at all. I guess I need the right flash and all the video codec. I really want to open link to you tube and so forth. Audio codec might be useful as well. Or maybe the non-oss iso for suse 11.0. Hope you can help -- Bob Rea http://www.petard.us http://www.petard.us/blog http://www.petard.us/gallery One good thing the NSA has done: shown us that may paranoid schizophrenics were sane, just confused about who was watching them. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

You should not use flash on a system you can not update. - -- Cheers Carlos E. R.
