Re: [opensuse] Hauppauge HVR900H in openSUSE?
I don't know how similar this is to the rest of the em28xx series but that product id doesn't exist in driver Mauro is working on[1]. Mauro can you comment?
AFAIK, HVR 900H is based on tm6000. I'm currently working on a driver for those chips. There's an experimental tree available at:
http://linuxtv.org.hg/~mchehab/tm6000
Unfortunately, I didn't have time yet to finish it. The code is not yet ready to be added on kernel.
I should send soon some patches to fix some issues there, since I got a few newer devices that will help me to test some things and to improve their support.
Well, that is good to know that there is someone looking at it. :-) I have the DVB-T tuner working in a Windows VM right now, and I cannot believe how awful the WinTV software is compared to what is available in Linux. I am willing to test any Alpha versions that come available. C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
