[SuSE Linux] double click speed
Hi, Sorry, but erased the original post... You can change the double click speed by inserting this line into .Xdefaults: wm_name*doubleClickTime: 500 and restarting the X 500 is just the number of millisecs. You can make it anything you want. I hope it will work... -alexm - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>

No, It didn't work. It is probably due to my setup. I'm using a plain fvwm2, and open everything in xterms. My .Xdefaults only has listings for OpenWindows Olwm. I tried alot of combinations: fvwm2*doubleClickTime: 500 fvwm2.DoubleClickTime: 500 OpenWindows.doubleClickTime: 500 ...etc.. ...etc.. ...etc.. I'm going to try an track it down. It would be cool to have this in the basic fvwm2 mouse setting menu, alongside mouse speed. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
Hi, just to make sure... :-) Not only do you need to restart the X server, but also log out and log back in or run: # . .Xdefaults --> for the changes to take place. -alexm On Thu, 31 Dec 1998, zentara wrote:
