Does anyone know if SuSE 9.3 still supports Linux-ABI. The info for Linux-ABI is still listed in /etc/modprobe.conf but most of the modules are not there.

Go with SLES8, it's all there and working.

It also worked with 8.2, but with support coming to an end I was hoping to get it working on 9.3. Does anyone know if the mantel kernel has support for Linux-ABI? Thank you for your reply.

Support for SLES8 is not ending until 2008. Linux-ABI for kernel 2.6 does not seem maintained. Your best bet is SLES8, no sweat.
