Sylpheed-Claws - it bites! A GTK+ based, lightweight, and fast e-mail client and newsreader. Supports POP3, APOP, IMAP, SMTP, SMTP AUTH, NNTP, LDAP. Features multiple accounts, spell-checking, address book, SSL, GPG/PGP, filtering, scoring, i18n, & more version 2.0 came out not long ago, I might have to try it again... -- Paul Cartwright Registered Linux user # 367800

Hm, I thought it was quite good There's also evolution, mozilla-mail, balsa, and many others Most of them aren't interoperable, you usually need to export the mail from one to import into another. That's one of the reasons I switched to an IMAP server setup. They can all handle IMAP

I just did an update of Forte Agent last night. Downside is that it requires wine to run, and I had to had to launch the installer from the CLI in the "Program Files" directory of the fake windows drive, new twist, you didn't have had to be in a specific directory for the update to 2.0. .

Just look them up in Yast: there are many. Mozilla, evolution, balsa, pine, mutt, mail... and more.

Possible, but not directly, provided your mailboxes are im mbox format. Most can be convinced to do so; check: http://susefaq.sourceforge.net/howto/mailboxes.html You can even share mailboxes with windows (mozilla). Or you can set up a local imap server, and keep your mailboxes there for every client to use. This is possible easier to do. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFD7gSItTMYHG2NR9URAghRAJ9owca7xddv+CGmRNY32sIEgppZnwCgmGO0 A/vpm5emXgkHgPSkcV8wmK0= =mcqC -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
