I could probably log this as a bugzilla, but I'm not sure if I want to. I use CitiBank Virtual Account Numbers. This is a way to generate a unique credit card number for each transaction. Once I launch and log in, and click on "Generate Virtual Account number" or View Account Numbers, it tends to lock up Firefox 1.5 (and also Seamonkey 1.02). However I was able to use Knonqueror to do this successfully. Has anyone else had the same experience. The only way I know of reproducing this is to log in using a valid Citibank account login, and I'm certainly not ging to give that out :-) -- Jerry Feldman <gaf@blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Jerry, I've contacted a few sites that I was having trouble with using Firefox 1.5.x. Each one has alerted me to bugs in that version still with their sites. From the posts here on your message, I'd say it still has problems with several things. My solution was going back to the 1.0.8 version and I have had no problems with that on any site I do banking, pay bills or other things. I'm not sure exactly the bugs in the 1.5 version, but they are still there. I try each new version released to see if the problems have been fixed, but not yet. Now granted, some of the sites I've visited have some very bad coding on them, but convincing them it's there is another problem! ;o) regards, Lee -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

In my case, it is primarily with CitiBank, and I can live with it, but 1.0.8 is always a solution if it does start to cause problems in my work. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf@blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9

I also had issues with one of my cc accounts. I selected an amount to pay, then hit submit and it paid the entire balance! I did a bugzilla report and contacted support at the cc site. Don't know who fixed it... but it started working correctly several weeks later. t o n y -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
