APT for SuSE is great. Now I can say I have the best of both worlds. My buddy has always told me (he runs debian) that apt is awesome. Now I can say "yes it is". I have installed apt4rpm from http://apt4rpm.sourceforge.com. Will SuSE be officially endorsing this? I really like this program and hope SuSE incorporates it the next release. -- _ _ __ _____ _____ ___| |_ | '__| / __\ \ /\ / / _ \/ _ \ __| -o) | | _ \__ \\ V V / __/ __/ |_ /\\ |_|(_) |___/ \_/\_/ \___|\___|\__|_\_v rsweet@garagenetworks.net "unix soit qui mal y pense."

I tried installing this yesterday using these RPMs. I get lots of dependencies which aren't resolved by the files on SourceForge. I'm eager to try out apt - Can someone tell me what I've done wrong? -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER1@MN.RR.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK IGNORE FULLWISE

The rpm is called: perl-XML-Parser and is part of suse distribution. So it should be on the your suse CD's :) -- Richard Bos For those without home the journey is endless

Take a look in the perl series of the CD's or FTP site, located near the bottom.
