[SLE] Dial on demand [SUSE 9.1]
Hi, I setup SUSE 9.1 for a friend on his router/firewall doing dial-in as well. It's a(n almost) minimal install, riding a nice red Devolo Fun 56K external, USB modem. This later was pretty hard to install, but we managed it. Everything seems to work well, if he does ssh (trough Putty) from his XP-box to the router and dials via wvdial "half-manually". I attempted to setup him "dial on demand", which I suppose would be the best way for him to avoid ssh-ing. We provided the DNS-list of his provider, but the box didn't go to the net, when we tried to surf on his XP nor locally on the router with lynx. Do we need something in addition to get dial on demand work in addition to the normal dial-in setup via yast?
