Hi, I'm trying to install SuSE 8.0 onto a Quad Xeon server. Among other things, it has a SymBIOs SYM53c895 adapter, to which is connected a Mylex DAC1100 RAID controller. Two 8GB disks are connected to this controller, and they are presented as 1 8GB logical disk. When doing a standard install, I cannot see any internal disks. When I tried a manual install, attempting to load the sym53c8xx driver failed with an unresolved symbol: __out_of_line_bug I'm guessing that I need to load another module before the SymBIOS driver, but I don't know which. Can anyone shed any light on this please?
