I supose that you tried to #eject cdrom as a user? In order to do such a thing, you ll have to have write access on the device. as root, do #chmod 777 /dev/cdrom or hdd - hdc (whatever points to cdrom) will do the job. Hope that helps.
Hi all,
I have a new problem related to the harden_suse script. I ran this script and then found it locked my system down too tight. I then ran unharden_suse. This script did not undo everything that harden_suse did. I tried putting in a music cd and recieved the message "CDROM read or access error." I am now unable eject the cd. I have tried umount and am told it is not mounted. After loging in as root and trying eject -r the response is "Device or resource is busy" How do I eject the cd and then how do I get it accessable again.
Thanks, Mike
