I was just wondering whether houghi's makeSUSEdvd can be used (with slight modification) for creating installation DVDs out of the CDs of other distros too? Just curious, not that I'd want to leave SUSE. :) Oh, and I put this on the list as I thought others may also be interested in houghi's (and others') answer(s). -- (o- Penguin #395953 lives at http://samvit.org //\ subsisting on ancient Indian wisdom ... makeUSEdvd is build around create_package_descr, wich is a specific SUSE program, as far as I know. Making it usable for distro's that do not use create_package_descr, it will be almost a complete re-write. If you want something like that, it is perhaps easier to just write one for that distro. Later it can be integrated into one program if there is enough demand for it. -- Quote correct (NL) http://www.briachons.org/art/quote/ Zitiere richtig (DE) http://www.afaik.de/usenet/faq/zitieren Quote correctly (EN) http://www.netmeister.org/news/learn2quote.html
