I have a M-Audio MIDISport-Uno, have unpacked the midisport_firmware-0.5 and copied the Windows driver loader, USB11LDR.SYS, from an archive on this PC into the same directory, I also made a fresh copy from a Windows XP box across the network. My SuSE 9.4 Pro has hotplugged and recognized the MIDISport Uno, but has not configured it. (It's found in hardware list and the SuSE Hardware Tool reports it.) I ran make install as root and recvd the following output: cc extractfirmware.c -o extractfirmware ./extractfirmware processing USB11LDR.SYS ... invalid PE header offset make: *** [install] Error 1 Is the USB11LDR.SYS file mangled and that's the error? I also made a backup copy and then edited the /etc/hotplug/usb.usermap file -- it was already commented out completely. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! TIA. -*-Bill
