Greetings, I have two questions for samba; Defined in the smb.conf file is this entry logon path \\%N\profiles\%u Where exactly is %N pointing to.. ggl only tells me what I already know and thats what the line should or could look like. I ve also seen one with a %L which I suppose is the machine, I get that from smblient -L Where can I see some sample winxp logon scripts, I need to map about 5 shares to each system and about 3 printers? Where exactly is %N pointing to.. ggl only tells me what I already know and thats what the line should or could look like. I ve also seen one with a %L which I suppose is the machine, I get that from smblient -L Are you familiar with SWAT (Samba Web Admin Tool)? Enable it in YaST, Network Service, Inetd and then point a browser at http://localhost:901. You'll find it eventually in the help files for smb.conf... %N is the name of your NIS home directory server.
Where can I see some sample winxp logon scripts, I need to map about 5 shares to each system and about 3 printers? No clue. But please share if you find some.
