How does one: A: use an office suite (word processor, spreadsheet...) in English (well alright, American actually), a QWERTY keyboard layout, american formats, english reference works [dictionary etc.] B: use an office suite in French, an AZERTY keyboard layout, french formats, french reference works C: use an office suite in German with the same set of parameters -all on the same platform -each one with its own universe of defaults, and parameters, invoked while operating in that language -as an example: I write a letter, in English, using QWERTY keyboard layout, with an enclosed spreadsheet with american formatting (including paper size); then I prepare a report in French, with A4 paper size default, with automatic reference to a french dictionary etc., using AZERTY keyboard layout; then I edit a text in German with all of the attendant requirements. Is this a part of the S.U.S.E./ GNU Linux universe, and if so where should I apply? -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

I am not entirely sure if this can be done easily with just one user account, but as long as you have an office suite which will support all three languages, (Try StarOffice) it will probably be easy to do with three different user names. Otherwise, you might want to look into KOffice and KDE's international keyboard support.
