[opensuse] Yast Print Manager
Hi All, I have a problem whereby the YAST print manager does not properly start. The dialogue window shows the following: The list of installed drivers has changed. Building database of drivers. The blue indicator then stops at 4% In the larger window below the previous one it says: Checking database of printers. It hangs at 40%... I guess waiting for the rebuilding of the driver database to complete. Funny thing is is that I had a printer already setup and working. It has since stopped working failing on every job. I wish I could remember what the error is but I can't... Sorry. I had deleted the printer using the lpadmin command as the gui would never start after the printing system started giving errors. Note that nothing on the network or network printer I was connected to had changed at all. Please if anyone could help, I would be much obliged.
