Many things. At what point does it freeze? What exactly does it say? -- noodlez: Karol Pietrzak PGP KeyID: 0x3A1446A0

It stops on: "Starting service at daemon:" But it does not tell anything.

Boot into runlevel 1 (add 1 at the end of your LILO prompt), open up /etc/rc.config from the console and set START_ATD to no. Run "SuSEconfig" and restart. This will disable the start of 'at' and now you can start it manually and find out what happens. -- noodlez: Karol Pietrzak PGP KeyID: 0x3A1446A0
Hi Karol.
Boot into runlevel 1 (add 1 at the end of your LILO prompt), ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ How do I do that ?.
open up /etc/rc.config from the console and set START_ATD to no. Run "SuSEconfig" and restart. This will disable the start of 'at' and now you can start it manually and find out what happens.
How can I run manually ??

You do you use LILO, right? (Does it say "LILO:" when you start your computer?) If you do, simply append (type it in) "1" to the end. So if you use "linux" to start SuSE, type in "linux 1".

Type "SuSEconfig" (w/o the quotes) and hit ENTER. -- noodlez: Karol Pietrzak PGP KeyID: 0x3A1446A0

I do use LILO. BUT as I run SuSE 7.2 there is a fixed -I think- startup window, and I do not think I can add the '1', but I'm not sure.

OK thanks.
