need to know a solution to Kmail problem..please help.
Sorry for this repost, but I still really need a solution to this or else I'll have to abandon using Kmail here at work, which would be unfortunate because I love the way it synchs up with Kaddressbook and my Palm pilot. The problem is when I try to reply to HTML emails I receive from some Outlook users. I want to reply in plain text, but the HTML format tags are all embedded in the reply. Is there some way I could avoid this from happening? I've tried like every setting I could think of. Thanks for any help with this. I don't have the problem with these e-mails when I use Sylpheed or Evolution but I'd prefer to use Kmail. -- Rick

I think part of the problem is this is mail coming from a Microsoft Exchange server. I know if I send from normal Outlook Express from home, KMail gets the mime types correctly. Like I mentioned though other clients are able to handle this mail correctly even from an Exchange Server so I'm still hoping a solution is out there. -- Rick

I agree that Exchange seems to be showing some issues with Kmail. I have noticed with more than one person that messages sent from exchange act very strange. One example on this list is KMcLauchlan@chrusalis-its.com. His message hit KMail via the list with no headers visible. I can look at the message on the disk and all is well, but with KMail there are no visible headers. I can't say whether the problem is with Exchange or with KMail, but I have noticed it. -- Kelly L.
