[Please reply to the list - it's polite] The same syntax works fine for me, but I'm running sendmail locally as a daemon. The errors look like it's more an issue with sendmail than fetchmail, when I stop sendmail's daemon I get the same error, so if you run sendmail as a daemon does it solve it?
I'm simply trying to download the mail from a POP3 account on roadrunner so that I can read it with PINE. I do the following:
fetchmail -u "jvollmer1" -p POP3 pop-server.mn.rr.com
answer the password prompt, and get:
