Digital Camera Revue DC 310 for SuSE Linux 8.2
Dear my friends.... My wife bought a digital camera, it is REVUE DC310. I tried to make my gtkam and DigiKam of my SuSE box communicating to this digital kamera. But it is always failed. I tried to configure my Digikam (ver 0.51) with : configure-->Setup-->Camera Setting but I didn't find the proper one for this REVUE DC310. Is there any alternative device driver for this Digital Camera so it I can take the pictures from this Camera? Do you have any solution? Please.... __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Get a us$15 usb digital card reader. Compatible will _all_ digital cameras (w/removable chips). -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org

I would suggest a multi usb card reader. That lets you mount your media and copy your pictures much faster, uses no camera power, and works well. Maybe not the solution you were looking for, but their prices have come down so low as to make them very handy. I have a 6-1 card reader, and use it even if my camera IS supported, since it is faster and better. No. My Olympus D-340R connects via serial cable. The 6-1 card reader works much better (and KDE/SuSEwatcher even put a drive icon on the desktop to make it even easier than gphoto. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
