Konqueror window pop up when plugging in USB thumb drive
I have not had 9.2 very long, so I have not had many chances to use my USB thumb drive with it yet. I thought when I used it earlier, a Konqueror window popped up showing the thumb drive's contents. Tonight Konqueror did not pop up. I was able to go into "My Computer" and find its contents there, but I liked the automatic Konqueror window popup I got earlier. Is there a setting somewhere that controls this feature? Thank you. No one answered this. However, I am happy to report that without any intervention by me, the Konqueror window started popping up again when the thumb drive is plugged in. Why it stopped doing it for a while, and what got it working again, I have no idea. Two possibilities come to mind: 1) SuSE Plugger, a.k.a. the "SuSE Hardware Tool," whose icon shows up in the tray as a tiny image of a PCI card (it's green and rectangular with part of the lower edge extnding further down), might not be running. If it's not running, you won't get the automount behaviors. 2) When you're looking at a Konqueror window (possibly only one acting as a file system browser) when the new device appears, it will open a new tab in that window. When you're not already viewing a Konqueror window, it will open a new window for the newly inserted device.
