Hi, [I can't continue the thread so I had to start it over, Sorry!] I solved powersave problems on my Toshiba by installing the latest Mr Mantel kernel: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mantel/kotd/i386/HEAD Mine was: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mantel/kotd/i386/HEAD/kernel-smp.i586.rpm Later I decided to download and compile sources and install madwifi driver for my wifi card. Now acpi works perfect, quiet and reports both processors (HPET). 9.3 kernels - I had to disable HPET in bios to work with this kernel 10.0 OSS kernels - hangs when acpi is on Mantel kernel - works great.
