How to know the serial port used by my modem
Hello,
i use an HSF Modem ( linuxant free driver).
How could i identify the serial port used ?
/dev/ttyS0 isn't the good one and i tried /dev/ttyS1 & /dev/ttyS2
without any succes.
my "lspci -vvv" :

what have you done so far? Did you run hcfpciconfig after install?
Did you check that the module has been loaded and initialized
properly? If so, you should see /dev/ttySHCF which is the supposed to
be used with Linuxant modem drivers.

Oops!. Anyway, just replace HCF with HSF: installation and
configuration are basically the same. After module initialization you
should see /dev/ttySHSF. Can you verify that? Did you run hsfconfig
after installation?
