I suspect that the list owner is having problems with some user bouncing back to the list with mangled headers, which is making it impossible to figure out who to unsubscribe, and this is their attempt to find the idiot responsible (there is a broken WinNT mailing server abroad in the World which has done this to mailing lists I have been on in the past -- innovation from the inventors of innovation. :-) -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
Hi friends all, Me too have received it, and suspect that every one of us will/did too. It seems legal as of the sender, but better if she/he would have also included a short explanation line. Also nice and not annoying at all, i do not bother much. The last month i've been receiving continuos mailhost rejects each time i posted to the list, even if i did it including only [SLE] on it. Although i do not remember which was the host because i thrashed it immediately. No one playing "silly buggers" at all, think that it is only a cleaning action intent. My received [DETAILS] below as a matter of fact. ---- Mark Gray wrote:

I guess this is the message my system bounced this morning. A couple of points hades.suse.com Doesn't seem to exist. At least host can't find it. Check the IP that hades claimed to be: 192.168.0.213 Isn't that a private IP? So maybe it's a machine on the internal SuSE network but I'd wonder about any message from root. I guess you people aren't normally bouncing mail from sites that don't resolve? Yes, it was a test message from a machine internally. It was to track down a problem. Please ignore it and delete it as the subject says. :) * Nick Zentena (zentena@hophead.dyndns.org) [000822 20:14]: -->On Tue, 22 Aug 2000, Eduardo Carriles wrote: -->> Hi friends all, -->> -->> Me too have received it, and suspect that every one of us will/did too. -->> -->> It seems legal as of the sender, but better if she/he would have also included a -->> short explanation line. --> --> --> I guess this is the message my system bounced this morning.
