[opensuse] usb hard disk disconnected when kdetv launched/exit
Hello, i wouLd Like to report some probLem in my running computer. The probLem is coming when i buy usb enclosure hard disk. OS, - openSuSE-10.2 - kernel 2.6.18.2-34 my computer, - have tv card connected to pci - have usb-1.0, so - i buy pci-to-usb (usb-2.0), because - i want my encLosure hard disk connected to it, so i can get fuLL speed r/w situation, - usb hard disk is connected in pci-to-usb - Login to KDE - the usb hard disk is automounted, then - when i run kdetv (program to watcing TV) or close it, my usb hard disk is [sometimes] autodisconnected (see Last output from dmesg.out) my current soLution, 1. Connect usb hard disk to internaL usb-1.0, (and happy with 300-400 kb/s speed) 2. Unmount usb hard disk first, then run kdetv, then mount again sometimes when i change channeL i got my usb hard disk auto disconnected again. 3. Don't watch TV, just listen to Amarok :( i have try with kernel 2.6.22.1, but still have a probLem. i have attached 3 fiLe with this emaiL, dmesg.out, lspci-v.out, and hwinfo-all.log. thank you. PS: - is it normal usb-1.0 have speed 300-400 kb/s ? - and is it normal pci-to-usb-2.0 have speed 5-6 Mb/s ? -- Mr. 'S'mart1 is a rivaL of Mr. KnowLedge.
