Info only. I belong to three linux lists that ban posting with lookout and lookout xpress. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org
While it certainly is in the "rights" of the list creators, it's rather stupid to ban someone merely based on the color of their skin... Er, I mean, by the mail client they use. Not everyone has options, particularly in a corporate environment. Something to think about.

Perhaps they should not be using company software and company time to converse on the mail list ???? Everyone has options. They do not have to participate. They can do it at home. and on and on .... -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org

they may be making an enquiry on the list with a problem about a suse box and the only thing they can post with is a windows box... I've been stuck in that position before now with a duel boot box that would only boot into ms-windows after having re-installed ms-windows...
Lets see that is 41 messages today alone about top posting and using outlook to respond to this list. I think this is a list for suse users. Or did I take a wrong turn? I think this email list has officially been hijacked. :) Please do not reply to this message. Please please please do not reply to the list on this topic anymore. I think everyone gets it.

Suse ships winerack winerack (or for that matter corssover office) allows you to use outlook (and OE) under Suse linux. Many admnistrators in larger corporations have to confirm to corporate standars, which might (and sadly often do) include the fact that only outlook is allowed as a mail client. Even in a mostly unix shop (suse/redhat/solaris/irix/debian) like ours outlook is the standard Currently listening to: Iron Maiden - Dance of Death Gerhard, <faliquid@xs4all.nl> == The Acoustic Motorbiker == -- __O A moose is amusing, a squid quite confusing =`\<, Or try on a rhino if you fancy a bruising, (=)/(=) Or mountin' a mountain goat (careful, don't fall!)
