Hello Everyone, I am, for the first time, playing around with wvdial. The man pages suggest that it is "intelligent" and not very configurable. Where / how / is_it_possible to configure the values for mtu, mru, asyncmap? I have tried setting them in /etc/ppp/options but wvdial seems to ignore these params. I am using 7.2 Prof, full install and an external analogue modem. TIA, Lourens. *** It's a thankless job, but I've got a lot of bad Karma to burn off. *** Powered by SuSE Linux 7.2 Professional Registered Linux User Lourens Steenkamp Republic of South Africa _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I've been using /etc/ppp/options to tweak it. I haven't totally figured it out but the options I put in there are working. I added "demand" to it and it works as well. How are you testing to see if your mru and mtu are being used? Hello Everyone,
I am, for the first time, playing around with wvdial.
