Hi! It appears that editing the boot configuration causes a wee bit of data loss in the configuration. I also lost the fancy boot menu portion. Could someone be kind enough to send me a copy of their menu.lst file from /boot so I can cut and paste the lines back into mine? Thanks in advance for those responding! Doug PS: I have reported the issue with Suse. It appears that if you attempt to edit a configuration, it complains the label already exists. So it if you delete the label and recreate it in the same session, it creates a duplicate of the menu entry in the menu.lst, but it does not display this to you.

Thank you to all that responded. I now have enough copies :) Nice to get the pretty screen back to impress others with. Thanks again.
