Konqueror can't access directory on vfat filesystem
Hi, don't know if this is just my problem or KDE bug, but I mentioned konqueror can't access some directories on my IDE disk with fat filesystem. But these directories are accessible with mc or application open dialog box (gtk apps or kde apps). If i try to open directory the path on konqueror window is displayed correctly but content of the directory is not displayed. d3dk0

It works fine here. Check the umask, that's used for mounting that directory. As I recall, listing a directory requires the execute permission. What happens if, in a terminal session, you try to list the contents?

They are accessible in terminal session (the content is displayed)

Try to create directory with the bracket in name (for example [test]) on vfat filesystem, create any file in it and try to open it in konqueror.

This is a known bug in very recent kde versions (can;t remember the number). The '[' is mistakenly seen as a search argument. Don't know when it gets solved.
