Re: [SuSE Linux] Hoorah for SuSE has updated boxed 6.1 set 2.2.5 -> 2.2.7!
SuSE Support Good, if sometimes slow. I've had two minor problems but essentailly my upgrade from 5.3 went without a problem. The two niggles I had I found answers to on the support database (history section) web site but which were answered fully by SuSE support. SuSE updating 6.1 Yes, this is great. Otherwise I would wait or recommend my friends wait until 6.2 comes out. When they ask for my advice, I can say go ahead, there were some bugs but the latest releases of 6.1 should be fine. Just check it has the 2.2.7 kernel on.... SuSE value Value for money is a choice the consumer makes. Before flaming SuSE, remember all the very fine work the do (the devil is in the detail as far as Linux goes) to get your basic stuff to work. Plus have you seen any other distro including StarOffice and stacks of other software for £24.99? StarOffice is probably worth that on its own. 6.1 is/was a great distro and SuSE have my full support. k. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
