Hello, I'm still looking for the cause of v11.1 KDE start-up anomaly on Shuttle X27, posted previously (see below) but not responded. I've saved /var/log/boot.msg after an anomalous boot to look for a clue, but I can't find it in this 50 kB file. Any idea which keywords to search? Please help. I wrote 3 days ago: openSuSE 11.1 with KDE often (about 50% chance) requires to login twice and displays colorful horizontal stripes during the boot procedure. In a worst case, SuSE boot hangs and forces me to unplug the power cable - the X27 has no reset button. Ubuntu 8.10 on another HD partition on my Shuttle X27 shows no boot problems. What can I do?
