[opensuse] Stubborn screen blanking under OS11.1
Hi, For a few weeks now my OpenSUSE 11.1 desktop PC has arbitrarily decided to blank the screen after 6 minutes of inactivity. Nothing that I have tried so far has managed to modify this behaviour. I tried: * disabling screensaver * under > Configure Desktop > Advanced > Power Management Assign the same profile to all scenarios and disable screen power management for that profile * Using SaX2 to modify DPMS settings but Sax2 keeps reporting circular syntax errors in xorg.conf when trying to save so I gave up. * editing xorg.conf to set Option "DPMS" to "false" I saw this issue brought up in the past on the forum and this mailing list but no solution was provided so I am taking my chance. Is the screen going into powersave or just displaying a black picture?
