Greetings! Does anyone know off hand what the version number is for RAID MD under the Linux-2.2.16.SuSE-22 kernel? I read that most 2.2.x kernels has version 0.36, while there is a version 0.90 in patch form and that 2.4.x will have it in by default. If I were to upgrade from 0.36 to 0.90, would have to redo the RAID partitions and reload the data from a backup? Also, I noticed that every time I reboot my machine, even though the MD devices were properly shut down, the MD devices are re-syncing on boot up. This takes about over two hours to finish on my system for a three RAID-1 partitions (16GB total) on two drives. This was happening with both 2.2.14 and 2.2.16-22. Does anyone know why this would be happening? Thanks! Christopher Reimer creimer's FPS Design & Portfolio http://www.rahul.net/creimer/
